Privacy Policy
This Policy explains how Sepzok (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with our public website and related public pages. It covers our company site and open-source project pages only. It does not describe any software or service that is not publicly presented on this site.
1. Scope
This Policy applies when you visit or browse our public websites (including company sites hosted via GitHub Pages or similar) and when you voluntarily provide information to contact us. If you use our public repositories on GitHub or other platforms, those platforms’ own privacy policies also apply.
2. Information we may collect
- Information you provide: when you contact us via GitHub Issues, messages, or another channel you choose—your name or handle, contact details, and message content.
- Technical and log data: our hosts or CDNs may automatically record access time, coarse location (e.g. country/region), browser and device type, referrer, and request path for availability and security. We do not use this to identify you in the real world.
- Local storage: the site may store preferences such as language choice in your browser. That data stays on your device.
We do not currently run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking pixels on this site. If that changes, we will update this Policy.
3. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the public website;
- To respond to inquiries, business or press requests, and security reports;
- To detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
- To comply with applicable law and lawful requests.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use essential local storage or cookies to remember language preference and keep basic site functions working. We do not use cookies to serve you third-party ads.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only when needed:
- With hosting, DNS, or CDN providers acting on our instructions;
- With your consent;
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
6. Retention
Contact information is kept as long as reasonably needed to handle your request, or until you ask us to delete it (unless law requires retention). Host and security logs follow the provider’s normal rotation.
7. Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to a public website (such as HTTPS, access controls, and dependency updates). No internet transmission is perfectly secure. See our Security page to report issues.
8. International processing
This site may be hosted on infrastructure in different countries. Visiting the site may involve processing technical data in those jurisdictions. If you contact us via GitHub, GitHub’s terms and privacy policy also apply.
9. Your rights
Where applicable law allows, you may ask to access, correct, or delete contact information you gave us, or ask questions about this Policy. Use the channels on our Contact page. We may need to verify the requester.
10. Children
This site is for the general public and business visitors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will update the version date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you are aware of the revised Policy, unless law requires otherwise.
